Linking to Rx Bricks within a Brick

Bricks Create provides a method to link to another Brick from the ScholarRx collection. Any user, who can create (author) a Brick may use this feature.

To link to a ScholarRx Brick,

1. Highlight the desired text in the Brick
2. Open the Link dropdown menu in the toolbar
3. Select "Link Brick" option

       4. A pop-up will appear that will allow you to browse the ScholarRx Collections. 

       5. Click on the Brick that you would like to link. The Brick will be automatically linked to the text you previously highlighted and you can continue editing your Brick.

        6. When the Brick is published, and the link is clicked in the Exchange, the Brick will open in a new tab. You can also see the linked Brick in Preview Mode and Copy Draft Link.  

Note: You may link to a Brick even when you do not have a subscription to the Brick collection; however, when a user does not have a subscription to a linked Brick, only a Brick preview is displayed.

To UNLINK a Brick,

1. Select the text. The toolbar displays.
2. Click on the last icon and then click 'Link Brick'. The link is removed.

The text will no longer be linked to a Brick.
