What is Study Stream?

Study Stream is your spaced repetition learning tool in USMLE-Rx. 

• Study Stream uses a spaced repetition algorithm to make your study sessions more effective. The system presents flashcards to you based on your own strengths and weaknesses
• Each time you rate your confidence level for a flashcard—whether by clicking Don't Know, OK, or Nailed It—our system records this information and uses an algorithm developed by our data science team to determine when you should see that fact again.  

• For example, if you select Don't Know, the system will ensure that this fact receives a higher priority within Study Stream, which means you'll often see it again in about 2 minutes.
• If, on the other hand, you choose Nailed It, the system will de-emphasize that card so that you don't see it as often (roughly 4 days for the first time you choose Nailed It, with longer intervals set each time thereafter). 
• You can use the My Study Stream report to help you track your progress.  The indicator provides a visual indicator showing a breakdown of the cards you rated, as well as the cards you still need to complete in order to reach your goal.
