When switching First Aid years, you may notice differences in your overall confidence ratings & stats. This occurs because not all editions of First Aid contain the same content. Some topics exist only in a specific year. Cards and videos that do not change between years are mapped directly.
New cards and videos are displayed as new (unused) content in a new year. Some cards and videos may not exist in both years, so those would not be included in the previous year's stats.
Here is how the confidence level is calculated and displayed in USMLE-Rx.
30% of cards must be assigned a confidence level before a category is color-coded. |
Default (no confidence ratings, less than 30% of cards rated) = Blue |
0-49% Correct = Red |
50-74% Correct = Yellow |
75-100% Correct = Green |
New and removed cards between First Aid years will affect the topic’s confidence rating (color).
