If you currently have a subscription to Qmax, Rx Bricks, Flash Facts, or Express Videos and want to take advantage of the power of all four learning tools, you can easily upgrade to the new Rx360+. Please note that this doesn't apply to students at schools that have purchased subscriptions for them.
If you have a subscription to Qmax, Rx Bricks, Flash Facts, or Express Videos, you can purchase Rx360+ and receive a prorated discount based on the type of product you're upgrading from, along with how much time was left on that subscription.
From the USMLE-Rx dashboard, you can add an Rx360+ subscription by clicking on Manage My Subscriptions, which is found at the bottom of the dashboard.
Here is how the prorated logic works within the system:
- When you add Rx360+ to your cart and proceed to checkout, the system will look at your account and determine how much time you have left on your current subscription.
- As an example, let's say you originally purchased a 12-month subscription to Flash Facts, and activated the subscription 6 months ago.
- When you add a new 12-month subscription to Rx360+, the cart will take into account what you spent when you ordered your Flash Facts subscription, and credit you roughly half of what you paid.
- So, if you originally paid $89 for your Flash Facts subscription, it would take about $45 off of the subtotal (keep in mind that your subscriptions are tracked by the day, so the calculations are more exact).
- Following this example, your subtotal would be:
- $399 (the price of a 12-month subscription to Rx360+) - $45 = $354
- Now, if you upgrade during a period in which there is an active promotion, you can apply that discount to the adjusted subtotal. For instance, if you entered a 25% off promo code, the cart would take 25% off of $354.
- Your new subtotal would then be $265.50 (not including sales tax, if applicable).
