When you purchase and activate your subscription to Qmax or Rx360+ from USMLE-Rx, you will arrive on the dashboard after logging in. If you've been using USMLE-Rx, your dashboard may look like this:
While Qmax gives you access to all of our questions for USMLE Step 1 and all of our questions for USMLE Step 2 CK, you will need to be sure you're selecting USMLE Step 2 when creating tests or reviewing your cumulative analysis. We separate the statistics to help you keep things straight.
Creating a USMLE Step 2 CK Test in Qmax
You have two ways of creating a regular Step 2 test in Qmax. You can:
- Select Create Test from the left-hand menu, or
- Click Create New Test from the Qmax: Step 2 tile on the dashboard.
- This will take you to the Test Settings screen, where you will choose Step 2 CK under the Test Source heading.
- From here, you can customize the test based on difficulty, question status, answer status, mark status, and the organ systems and disciplines you want to assess yourself on:
After you finish your test, you will be able to open up the Test Analysis to see how you did.
Creating a USMLE Step 2 CK Simulation in Qmax
To create a half-test or full-test simulation in Qmax, select the Qmax icon in the left-hand menu and choose Create Simulation.
On the Simulation Details screen, you will need to select USMLE Step 2 and then choose whether you want to go through a Full-Test or Half-Test Simulation. The system will only draw medium and hard questions from the pool of questions you haven't seen before.
Reviewing Your Cumulative Analysis for Step 2
To monitor your progress in the Step 2 bank, go to the Cumulative Analysis section in Qmax, which you can access from the left-hand menu or beneath the Qmax: Step 2 tile, where it says Stats and Analytics.
This will take you to your Step 2 CK Cumulative Analysis page, where you can see information regarding your:
- Question Performance
- Question Usage
- Overall Performance
- Your percentage of correctly answered questions vs. the global average
- Recent Activity
- Performance by Discipline
- Performance by Organ System
