How to Create a USMLE Board Exam Simulation in USMLE-Rx

In Qmax, you can build a USMLE-style simulation that will offer you the closest experience to taking Step 1, Step 2, or one of the NBME exams. Here's how to do it:

• From the dashboard, go to Qmax Questions and select Create Simulation 

• Choose which Step exam you want to simulate (Step 1 or Step 2 CK)
• Then select if you want to run a full-test simulation (7 timed blocks over 7 hours) or a half-test simulation (4 timed blocks over 4 hours)

We designed our simulation tests to be created with “unused” questions that you’ve never seen before. To get the most out of this feature, create your simulations while you have a minimum of 1000 unused questions in your test bank. You may want to create a simulation as soon as you open your account, suspend the test, and take it later, when you're ready.  

Your simulation will appear on the My Tests page.
