How to Customize a Brick

Bricks can be customized to meet your educational needs using Bricks Create. You can either modify existing Bricks or create new ones from scratch.

Option 1: Clone an Existing Brick

Copying a Brick so you can edit it without changing the original. The original author remains credited, and your version is published as an adaptation. Use this when you want to build on existing content.

Option 2: Create a Brick from Scratch

Creating a Brick from scratch using the authoring template in the Bricks Create. You are credited as the author of the Brick. Use this when you want to create original content.

You can access Bricks Create from the grid icon in the lower-left corner of the USMLE-Rx Dashboard or from the Brick Exchange.
