If you have answered most or all questions in USMLE-Rx and want to start over, you have the ability to perform a one-time account reset. This option is available only to users with individually purchased subscriptions and is not available for school-provided subscriptions. Additional conditions apply (see below).
Resetting your account permanently erases all activity and progress associated with your profile including questions, cards, videos, and bricks. All notes and highlights will also be removed. This action cannot be undone.
Reset Your Study Progress
- From the USMLE-Rx Dashboard, select the Settings icon.
- On the General tab, scroll to the Account Reset section at the bottom of the page.
- Click the red Reset Account button to begin.
- Review the warning message and confirm that you want to proceed.
Rules and Restrictions
- Your total subscription must be 6 months or longer (extensions count). This option is not available for 1-month or 3-month subscriptions.
- The reset option can be used only once. After it is used, the button is no longer displayed.
- This option is available only to users with individually purchased subscriptions. If your institution provides access to USMLE-Rx, the reset option will not appear.
