Smart Notes is a note-taking tool integrated with USMLE-Rx resources, including Rx Bricks, Qmax question banks, Flash Facts and Express Videos. With Smart Notes, you can:
Highlight content while studying and convert it into notes
Organize notes using notebooks and hashtags
Search, filter, and sort notes
Export notes for offline use (images and tables are excluded due to copyright restrictions)
Notes created in Smart Notes are free to use and remain accessible even after a subscription expires.
Getting started
Use the Smart Notes icon (pencil icon) in the USMLE-Rx Dashboard. From here, you can choose to manage Notes or Highlights.
Manage Notes
From the Manage Notes view, you can create new notes or notebooks, filter and sort notes, as well as search notes by keyword.
Selecting a note or content title opens the related study material. You can also select the three dots icon on the right side of the note to edit the note or add it to a notebook.
Manage Highlights
From the Manage Highlights view, you can sort, filter, or search highlights. Selecting a highlight opens the original content, where the highlight can be removed if needed.
