Qmax Create allows faculty to build, generate, and customize assessment questions for their institution’s private question bank. Faculty can create questions from scratch, generate questions using Teaching AI (TAI), or clone and modify existing ScholarRx questions.
This feature is available only to users with Faculty Qmax Author role. If you believe you should have access to Qmax Create but you receive an access error, please contact your institution's ScholarRx administrator.
Access Qmax Create
Qmax Create can be accessed by going directly to https://editorial.scholarrx.com in your browser, or from the Faculty Dashboard by selecting Qmax Create from the grid icon in the upper-right corner.
You will be taken to the My Questions page, which serves as your dashboard. This page displays a list of questions created by your organizations. You can:
- Sort columns by clicking column headers
- Select the three-dot button to edit, preview or delete questions.
Customize Questions
Option 1: Create a Question from Scratch
Select Create Question, and choose Blank Canvas. You are taken to a question template, complete the required fields and select Save to keep the question as a draft.
Option 2: Generate with AI
Select Create Question, then choose Generate with AI. Choose single-question or bulk generation (up to five questions), provide instructions and select Generate.
After generation, you can select which questions to keep, copy question content to the clipboard or request a new version of a question.
Option 3: Clone an Existing Question
Select Question Explorer from the left-hand menu, and search for questions in the ScholarRx question bank.
Once you identify a question you want to clone, open the three-dot menu and select Clone. Modify as needed and save.
Publish Question
When a question is saved, it is stored as a draft with an Approval status and can be edited later if needed. To publish a question:
- Toggle the activation switch to publish the question
- Address any validation errors if they appear
- Confirm activation when prompted.
