How to Add and Remove Questions from a Pool?

With ScholarRx, faculty can assign questions as low-stakes quizzes to give students regular opportunities to assess their understanding. Question pools organize assessment items for future use and can be selected during assignment creation to quickly add pre-curated questions. Pools also support collaboration with colleagues for shared question management.

Access Manage Pools

From the Faculty Portal, select Manage Pools in the left-hand menu, then select a pool name to open it. 

Search Relevant Questions

The Question Assistant uses TAI (Teaching with AI) to help you find relevant questions efficiently.

• Enter instructions in the search bar including topics or clinical scenarios, as well as the intended number of questions. By default, TAI returns 3 questions. 

• Filter results by question bank, difficulty or usage status

• Optionally, upload a file. TAI analyzes the content and suggests matching questions.

Add Questions to Pool

You can add questions to a pool in the following ways:

• Select Add All to add every question in the current search results.

• Select the plus (+) icon next to individual questions.

You can also add a question to another pool, or create a new poolm directly from the question by selecting the pool icon next to the question bank source. This allows you to organize questions into multiple pools without repeating searches. This option is also available when creating an assignment. 

Remove Questions from a Pool

To remove a question from a pool, locate the question and select the minus (–) icon.
